Ferritin
It is important to measure your iron level, especially if you suspect or have already been diagnosed with iron deficiency or excess. To determine the iron value, the storage protein ferritin is determined in the blood. An iron deficiency can become noticeable through symptoms such as tiredness, dizziness, a general feeling of weakness, fatigue or a drop in performance.
Test principle
The Preventis SmarTest® Ferritin Home Test System is based on the unique QuantOn® Technology. The test consists of a ferritin rapid test, which quantitatively detects the ferritin content in the blood, and a smartphone app, which evaluates the result of the rapid test.
