Ferritin
Ferritin is the storage protein for iron. The ferritin value helps in the diagnosis of absolute or relative (functional) iron deficiency or excess.

Testing principle
The Preventis SmarTest Pro® Ferritin testing system is based on the unique QuantOn® Technology. This manual test system consists of an antibody-based lateral flow test, including a smartphone app developed for its evaluation. Due to its innovative combination of app and test, this immunological rapid test enables a quantitative measurement of ferritin levels in only 15 minutes. The range of measurement tested is from 10 to 500 µg/L ferritin in finger berry blood.
The test is an in vitro diagnostic and suitable for use by professional users.

SmarTest Ferritin app: In addition, to perform the rapid test, you need the SmarTest Ferritin app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. The supported smartphones (system requirements) can be found below.

Preventis is pioneering point-of-care diagnostics through QuantOn® Technology, the innovative combination of rapid test and app.
